4Great wheel for the money
By fireplug
If you looked at reviews online you will see the same thing over and over...these wheels are heavy or they are not as good as such and such wheel.

Are there lighter or more aero wheels out there? You bet. But is you budget $500 or is it $1,500? If you are just looking at wheels in this price range than you should easily put these at the top of you list.

The wheels are more aero over most OEM wheelsets and lighter (by only a couple 100 grams) than my wheels that came with the bike. But the hubs are smooth and the wheels are bombproof. So for a modest price I have upgraded my stock wheels to something that is lighter, more aero, and look better (don't lie to yourself and say looks don't matter).

5Stiff, aerodynamic wheels
By John P. Baillieul
When I was upgrading from my previous wheels (stock Shimano RS10's and then Vuelta Zerolites) I was torn between Mavic's Ksyrium Elite and Cosmic Elite wheelsets. I liked the feel of both, and probably would've been perfectly happy with the Ksyriums, but I went with these because (A) they're more aerodynamic and (B) they wound up costing around $175 less for the set.
It's true that they're a little on the heavy side for 30mm clinchers (1770g) but they're strong, reliable and aerodynamic wheels that you can use for training on a day-to-day basis. It's been about 1200 miles and I'm definitely sold on 'em.
I'd also recommend looking at Fulcrum and Easton for wheelsets in the $500 range.

2Wheels are slightly better than stock OEM rims
By John Doe
I found these rims to be only 100 grams lighter than my Shimano RS10 that came stock on my Synapse 5 Aluminum Frame Cannondale. Yes a little stiffer but that not much more aerodynamic than my RS10's. Since I am not racing and all I care about is aerodynamics the only other option would be the Aero carbon wheelsets like the Carbone's or Zipps. I also read many riders complain about hubs breaking only after short use and spokes popping. The RS10's may be heavy but they are pretty bulletproof as far as durability.
