My building experience

This is a great product and worth your dollar if you are considering on using an electric hybrid as a mode of transportation. Expect to travel 20 miles on about 30 cents of electricity. The parts arrived to the East coast of the US in about 8 business days as expected. Every component was intact and most of the wiring was complete(except for the battery which was purchased from Monster Scooter Parts). The installation was simple and only took a few hours with only a few tools and about 5 dollars worth of wiring components for the battery.
One important thing to note is that the supplier did not mention in the description that a 48V battery charger was also included, so I purchased a 2nd one by mistake, but it's good to keep one charger at work and one at home. Furthermore, since I opted for the the 48V system, and 12Ah batteries, not all the battery and electronics fit within the carrying case provided by the supplier. If you opt for a 36V, 10Ah system, you should be able to fit everything but at the expense of shorter distances on a charge.
Overall a good purchase and not too challenging to build.

Works well. Nice power. Goes up steep hills. The rear wheel came without a rim guard to protect the inner tube from the spoke holes in the rim ... two flat rear tires before figuring out what was wrong. Very quiet operation. Shipping was quick. Assembly easy. Range with 22 amp hour sealed lead acid batteries, up and down hills, about 12 to 14 miles with no peddling (total weight: 54 pounds batteries, 210 pound rider, 70 pound bike = 334 pounds).
